It's a lazy grey day and I'm lounging in my robe with my feet up. I'm soaking in my husband at the other end of the sofa who's reading on his iPad. The dogs are lounging nearby and we're peaceful. I've got earbuds in so my mellow music doesn't disturb and I write. I'm working my way through the first draft of December Rain... restructuring and working things out on the page. Last night I got crazy and over edited... so today in a more rational mind I backed off some of the changes. I'm going to stick with my instincts and let Monica and Quinn just go where they're going. It's like they are evolving on their own and I am just documenting it. (Now I sound officially crazy... but I don't care.) Bing is singing White Christmas in my ear and it sends me back six weeks... oh how time flies. I'm gonna get back to their Christmas morning... then maybe interrupt my honey for a little afternoon love. Wink wink.

I like to build things. Like decks and furniture.
